The Metamon Mint

Minting on Ethereum

• All NFTs will exist on the Ethereum blockchain.

• Each metamon will require a small gas fee to record your transaction to the blockchain.

• Gas optimization will be ensured through our partnership with Polygon Studios.

• Each mint will be provably fair and verifiably random by leveraging Chainlink VRF.

• In order to mint Metamon, you must own a Trainer, which is your soul-bound game account granting you access to the rest of the MiniMetamon™ experience.

Mint Limitations

To ensure our adorable critters get into the hands of as many valued holders as possible, wallet limits and safeguards will be implemented across the ecosystem to ensure a fair and even distribuion is achieved; one valuing community engagement & knowledge. We undertake this endeavor striving for as much as can be achieved, a bot-free environment.

Safeguards:

Trainer Requirement

• The first time you enter the dApp, you will be required to build your Trainer. This NFT will be one of the wallet checks to be eligible to mint Metamon. Please see Trainer Creation for more information.

No Contract Mints

• All metamon must be minted from the dApp. You will not be able to mint metamon or Trainers directly from the contract.

Mint Priority

48 hours prior to public mint:

• Holders of the OG Backer Wardrobe can mint 2 Metamon per mint phase. See 'OG Backer Wardrobe' for more information.
• Golden Ticket NFT holders can mint 1 Metamon per mint phase.

• Silver Ticket NFT holders can mint 1 Metamon ONLY in any of the 10 mint phases of their choosing.

• Transaction Limit: You can mint all allotted Metamon in single transaction

  (5 OGs + 1 GT/WL = 11 Metamon in single transaction)

24 hours prior to public mint:

• Collectors who 'Verify your Wallet' in discord can mint 2 Metamon per mint phase.
• Transaction Limit: 1 Metamon / Transaction

Public Mint:

• The public can mint 1 Metamon per mint phase.

Note: Wallet limits ARE stackable, meaning an owner of a OG Backer Wardrobe + Golden Ticket + Verified Wallet in Discord would be eligible for 6 Metamon per mint phase (2 for OG, 1 for GT, 2 for Discord, 1 for public) totalng 60 metamon over the 10 week experience.

Wallet Snapshots

• In order to prevent wallet exploits, particularly in regards to OG Wardrobes, Golden Ticket NFTs, and Artifacts, wallet snapshots will be taken prior to mint window to ensure the fairest and safest mint experience possible.

Our 'collect-'em-all' experience is designed to provide joy for years to come! In the event metamon don't fully mint out, the opportunity to collect doesn't end there:

• Remaining Supply has no Wallet Limit

• 10 Metamon / Transaction

• Travel through time via the map in the dApp to revisit any mint of your choosing.

Items including Lucky Totem, Tear of the Goddess, and Evolutionary Spirits will remain for sale until sold out.

Mint Schedule:

The metamon mint is an episodic journey across the world of Alterra. It is made possible via 10 unique one-week mint phases. Each week a new region will be revealed accompanied by new metamon and lore unique to that region. To preserve the quality of the experience the following minting windows will accompany each phase:

You do not need to be a member of the MiniMetamon Discord in order to take part in the Public Mint, but you will be missing out on an additional 2 mints per week if you have not verified your wallet in our Discord.
